摘要： Introduction:Optimization of the unsaturated fatty acid composition of ruminant milk and meat is desirable.Alteration of the milk and fatty acid profile was previously attempted by the management of ruminal microbial biohydrogenation.Trans-vaccenic acid (trans-11 C 18∶1,t-VA) serves as a precursor for the synthesis of unsaturated fatty acid and conjugated linoleic acid in the rumen.The purpose of this study was to isolate and identify t-VA hydrogenating bacteria in vitro and further to analyzetheir biochemical characteristics and phylogenetic position.
