摘要: Swine manure may be a significant source of gases emissions (such as ammonia) to the atmosphere, depending on storage and handling practices. This study attempts to quantify the ammonia emissions from swine manure storage under different manure stackheight. The experiment was designed with a range of environmental temperature settings at 25 °C, using dynamic chamber methods. Swine manure gas emission fluxes in a ventilated storage was measured at a stack height of 10 cm, 20 cm, and 40 cm with threereplications. One IN NOVA 1412 multi-gas monitor with multi-channel samplers were used to measure gas concentration of different storage stack, meanwhile, stack weight, moisture content, total carbon content, total nitrogen content, were analyzed beforeand after storage. The result showed: The average daily ammonia emissions for 10cm, 20cm and 40cm were 2.89±0.36, 2.81 ±0.34 and 3.85±0.39 gd~(-1) m~(-2) respectively, or31.0±3.89, 15.3±1.86 and 12.4±1.28 gd~(-1) kg~(-1) initial weight respectively. Cumulative NH_3 emission reductions at the end of the 42-day storage were 59.9% for 40cm height compared to 10cm, and 18.5% for 40cm height compared to 20cm. To mitigate manure storage ammonia emissions, higher stack height should be considered.
